Review: Barielle Summer Brights Collection 2013

Hey lovelies!

Today I have swatches of Barielle's new Summer collection for you! I have heard that a few of these are re-releases from previous collections but they are all new to me and I am IN LOVE :)
The formula was perfect on all of them, even the yellow!!! Two coats for full opacity.

First is Pink Flip-Flops, the perfect bubblegum pink. Very light and feminine.

I discovered that this color matched the frosting on my Diamond Candle perfectly, so I had to take a picture with it :)

Next is Cosmic Kiss, a very bright hot pink. Love.

This is Lemon Drops, a bright, NON STREAKY, sunshiney yellow.

This is Sweet Addiction, a beautiful, slightly dusty clover green.

And last is Blue Capri. This polish is insane!! Without topcoat it is a pretty cornflower blue, but with topcoat, it becomes so much darker and more vibrant! It is an amazing royal blue color and so much prettier in my opinion!!! The topcoat I used was Barielle's Manicure Extender and this is the only polish I topcoated (because it was the last color I swatched and I loved it so much, I had to wear it!!)

SEE?!?! The left side is without topcoat and the right side is with topcoat. I could literally see the color completely change as it dried!!

Don't you just love these colors guys?? Thanks for reading :)

Review: Barielle Sweet Treats Collection for Spring!

Hey Guys!!

I recently received Barielle's Sweet Treats collection and I am IN LOVE!!!  I love every single color. I love them all so much, that I decided I had to use them all at the same time! :) So I did a gradient, my first gradient and I love how it turned out. Especially the peach and lavender colors together!! I am definitely going to have to do another gradient with just those two soon :) But I think this look is so fun and colorful, perfect for Spring and Summer!

From Left to Right Below:

Green Apple Chew, Lilac Jelly Bean, Banana Drop, Orange Parfait, Blue Cotton Candy

The formula was absolutely perfect with all of these :)

Blue Cotton Candy has a gorgeous hidden silver shimmer! Loved it even more when I put it on!!

I painted on Orange Parfait and Blue Cotton Candy as my alternating base colors, and then used a makeup wedge to sponge on the rest of the colors. I also added a top coat of the amazing Northern Lights Holographic Topcoat in silver for a sparkly effect :)

Review: Candeo Colors Joker and Fallen

Hey Loves!

Today I have some amazing glitters to show you from the lovely Candeo Colors.

First I have Joker, a GORGEOUS multi-color glitter that consists of different sizes of light blue, dark blue, light purple, dark purple, periwinkle and silver hexes in a clear base. Absolutely STUNNING.

As long as you use the dabbing method, rather than just painting the glitter on, you can get lots of glitter  in 2-3 coats :)

I layered both of these glitters over China Glaze Frostbite. I think it is the perfect base for both!

Next, I have Fallen, from the Winter 2012 collection. Fallen is a mixture of small and large white hexes in a clear base with a hidden holographic shimmer. It's so lovely! I got lots of compliments when I wore it over this blue, everyone said it looked like snow :) This one is even easier to apply, I kind of painted and just dabbed where I wanted more glitter.

I love both of these glitters so much!!!

Candeo Colors retail for $9.00 each and you can buy them HERE.

Layering with HITS Artsy

Hey guys!

So after wearing Kiev by itself for a day, I decided to layer HITS Artsy over it since it has been untried for too long! I just LOVE the result!! Artsy is my favorite duochrome I own now!

This is one coat of Artsy over three coats of Kiev.

Artsy shifts between blue, purple, and orange. Just gorgeous.

CANNOT STOP STARING AT MY NAILS.

Review: Soulstice Nevis and Kiev

Hello Lovelies,

Today I have two lovely polishes from Soulstice to show you.

First I have Nevis, one of their new polishes. I just love how they name all of their polishes after cities!

Nevis is a bright lime green creme. The formula was kind of thick, but pretty easy to work with. I got great coverage in just two coats!

Next I have Kiev, a deep crimson jelly.

This is just GORGEOUS. And it's a jelly!! Wonderful formula, three coats for full opacity.

These polishes retail for $8.00 a piece.

Review: Rockstar Nails Sunset at the Beach

Hello lovelies,

Today I am showing you a very colorful glitter polish by Rockstar Nails.
This polish is very unique as I have never seen a color combination like this one before! The formula was fine, the glitter goes on nicely, the only thing I had trouble with was the bottle. It was a bit tricky to  get the glitter pieces out. But I just turned the bottle sideways and was able to dig it out pretty well.

This is called Sunset at the Beach. It contains small blue squares, large purple hexes, large black circles, small red and gold hexes, and tiny blue micro glitter in a clear base. Major glitter bomb!!

I decided to layer it over Orly Lucky Duck and I think the deep green color is the perfect base for it :)

Bottle Shot :)

Mmmmm look at all that glitter!!
